Operations Manager 30 hours per week- West Dunbartonshire and SE Argyll
£33,917 pa (FTE- £39570)
Lomond and Argyll Advocacy Service (LAAS) provide independent advocacy to vulnerable adults across West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute.
LAAS are seeking to enhance our management capacity following successful bids for additional funding. The post will take operational responsibility for the supervision of a number of advocates working across mental health, learning disability and substance use services whilst also acting as part of the core management team of the organisation.
We are seeking a skilled and committed manager to help us in both operational service delivery and the modernisation and improvement journey the organisation is on. Based in our Dumbarton office, with hybrid home working, the post would be responsible for services delivered both in Glasgow in a number of hospitals, through to Helensburgh and South East Argyll and with the occasional need to travel into Argyll and Bute to attend service wide meetings or to cover our other operational manager.
The successful post holder will work 30 hours a week during the 9-5, Monday to Friday working week, with some flexibility as to precise hours and be able to travel independently across West Dunbartonshire, Glasgow and Argyll and Bute.

- Understand the importance and challenges of independence in Advocacy
- Have skills and experience in supervising staff working remotely and with diverse groups
- Have the ability to contribute to the LAAS management team, provide reports for our board, speak at external events and contribute to the training and development of our team,
