Confidentiality

LAAS offers its clients a completely confidential service.

What does that mean for me?

As a client of ours:

  • whatever you discuss with your advocate remains private.
  • we don’t share your personal information with anyone else unless you want us to.
  • we will not breach your confidentiality (except when your or someone else’s saftey is at risk).

All our staff, voluntary and paid, undergo rigorous pre-employment checks which include the need for references and Disclosure (at the ‘Enhanced ‘ level), in order to protect the safety of the people who use advocacy.
