Lomond and Argyll Advocacy Service have been delivering advocacy services to people in West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute council areas for over 20 metų. Initially focussing on those with a statutory need for Advocacy under the Mental Health Act and further supporting adults with a learning disability and people in the local community, mūsų paslauga išaugo taip, kad atitiktų platų asmeninių poreikių spektrą.
We currently run a Recovery Advocacy Project in Bute, Helensburgh and Kintyre and are now able to expand the service to the Cowal area with funding from the Alcohol and Drugs Partnership and Corra Foundation. Find out more about our project.
We are seeking a part time (20 Hours/week) Peer Advocate with the confidence, experience and credibility to work alongside those who are seeking help with their recovery but find obstacles in their way or whose voice is not being heard, or rights upheld.
This is a 2 year fixed post.
£24,621 to £27,017 (proporcingai)
Travel within Cowal and occasionally across Argyll and Bute will be required.
Our recovery advocates are rights based – jūsų vaidmuo bus teikti informaciją (bet ne patarimas) enable the individual to be heard – arba kalbėdami jų vardu, arba suteikdami jiems galimybę tai daryti patiems ir remti savo teises. Advokato dėmesio centre yra asmuo, their wishes, pažiūros ir teisės.
The successful candidates will be able to form positive relationships with those in or seeking recovery and with other professionals and services; iš NHS darbuotojų, policijos ir kriminalinės justicijos darbuotojams, psichiatrai, Housing providers and Social Workers and all the other professionals who become involved in someone’s life.
Jūs padėsite žmonėms naršyti šiame pasaulyje, be heard and to feel heard and to have their rights respected as they may progress their recovery journey.
