LAAS have been awarded grant funding from the Health and Wellbeing Network Oban to provide a series of workshops for Self Advocacy Skills training.
Many people struggle to speak up for themselves and self advocacy skills will enable people to build confidence through learning effective ways to address problems and ask questions.
Two dates have been set for these one day courses:
30th of January 2019 to be held at the Fire Station in Oban **EDIT: please note that this course has been cancelled and will be run at a future date**
4th February 2019 at the Rockfield Centre in Oban.
These will be running from 10am-3pm with lunch provided. The courses are free but booking is essential.
