Lomond & Argyll Advocacy Service are delighted to begin an Advocacy Service to those liberated from prison in Argyll and Bute. Initially for a one year pilot service, the posts will assist the Operations Manager in the development, implementation and evaluation of the service. The posts will be hybrid/ home working and will involve travel across Argyll and Bute , working closely with colleagues in Community Justice and with the skills to build positive relationships, including with those still in prison often via video link.
The successful candidates will be committed to the Human Rights of all, understand the importance of those liberated from prison being given the best opportunities to find meaningful lives and the ability to contribute and participate fully in society.
Candidates will demonstrate a non-judgemental approach to the work and this group , the ability to form positive relationships, to understand and support individuals human rights and to support individuals to speak up, have their voice heard and their rights upheld.
- These posts are both initially one year contracts.
- You must be able to travel within Argyll & Bute and to surrounding Local Authority areas. The posts are hybrid/home working.
