FTE £26,098 (£14,913 pro rata)
+ £312 pa Work From Home allowance
Lomond and Argyll Advocacy Service have been delivering advocacy services to people in West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute council areas for over 20 let. Initially focussing on those with a statutory need for Advocacy under the Mental Health Act and further supporting adults with a learning disability and people in the local community, naša storitev je zrasla in pokriva širok spekter individualnih potreb.

Building on this success, we are delighted to be recruiting a Peer Advocacy Worker for Cowal. We are looking for a person with the confidence, experience and credibility to work alongside those who are seeking help or asserting their rights but find obstacles in their way or whose voice is not being heard, or rights not upheld.

The successful candidate will be able to form positive relationships with those in or seeking recovery and with other professionals and services; od osebja NHS, za osebje policije in kazenskega pravosodja, Psihiatri, Housing providers and Social Workers and all the other professionals who become involved in someone’s life.
Posameznikom boste pomagali pri krmarjenju po tem svetu, be heard and to feel heard and to have their rights respected as they may progress their recovery journey. S podporo širše organizacije in izkušenih sodelavcev boste deležni popolnega uvajanja. Od vas se bo zahtevalo, da upravljate s številom primerov in da ste prilagodljivi pri svojem pristopu.
Uspešen kandidat bo zavezan spoštovanju pravic posameznikov, pripravljenost za učenje, ne bodite obsojajoči in imejte medosebne veščine, da razvijete zaupanje in pustite, da se posameznik počuti slišanega in spoštovanega, ne glede na njihove poglede ali perspektivo.
Glavni delovni čas LAAS je od ponedeljka do petka, 9 zjutraj. za 5 popoldne. vendar bo morda potrebna nekaj prilagodljivosti.
