LAAS are pleased to be hosting a Time to Talk day alongside Argyll & Bute Community Learning in Mid Argyll via Zoom on the 3rd of February from 1-2.30pm.

People are welcome from across Argyll & Bute and West Dunbartonshire. We will be discussing Mental health and wellbeing and what can we do to support people.

ažuriranje: We had a fantastic chat with range of people from across Argyll & Bute with Karen from the MS Centre in Lochgilphead and Linda from the Community Learning team in Mid Argyll.

We discussed a wide range of topics including how we can support others and be supported to have good mental health and how it can be difficult at times to admit to stuggling with mental wellbeing.

It has been hard for some to get back out into the world since the pandemic started, but having a safe space to come and talk and meet with new people can be so helpful and supportive.

It was felt that as a community, we are in this together and we have so much to share with others, our skills, knowledge and simply being there. We can make a difference.
