Lomond and Argyll Advocacy Service have been delivering advocacy services to people in West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute council areas for over 20 roku. Initially focussing on those with a statutory need for Advocacy under the Mental Health Act and further supporting adults with a learning disability and people in the local community, nasza usługa rozrosła się i obejmuje szeroki zakres indywidualnych potrzeb.
18 months ago we began a pilot project in parts of Argyll and Bute to support adults with substance use issues to be heard and have their rights upheld as part of their recovery journey. Find out more about our project.
Building on this success, we are delighted to begin a Rights Based Advocacy Service (substances) in West Dunbartonshire. Poszukujemy part time (30 hour/week) Advocate with the confidence, experience and credibility to work alongside those who are seeking help with their recovery but find obstacles in their way or whose voice is not being heard, or rights upheld.
Job share or applications for fewer hours will be considered.

The successful candidate will be able to form positive relationships with those in or seeking recovery and with other professionals and services; od personelu NFZ, dla funkcjonariuszy policji i wymiaru sprawiedliwości, Psychiatrzy, Housing providers and Social Workers and all the other professionals who become involved in someone’s life.
Będziesz wspierać jednostki w poruszaniu się po tym świecie, be heard and to feel heard and to have their rights respected as they may progress their recovery journey. Przy wsparciu szerszej organizacji i doświadczonych kolegów otrzymasz pełne wprowadzenie. Zostaniesz poproszony o zarządzanie liczbą spraw i elastyczne podejście.
Wybrany kandydat będzie zobowiązany do przestrzegania praw osób fizycznych, chęć nauki, nie osądzać i mieć umiejętności interpersonalne, aby rozwinąć zaufanie i sprawić, by jednostka „czuła się wysłuchana” i szanowana, niezależnie od ich poglądów i perspektywy.
Podstawowe godziny pracy LAAS to od poniedziałku do piątku, 9 jestem. do 5 po południu. ale może być wymagana pewna elastyczność.
