Working closely and in collaboration with Scottish Recovery Consortium, our Argyll and Bute ADP and REACH Advocacy Scotland we have made significant developments in establishing advocacy provisions for people in Argyll and Bute who are seeking assistance with recovery. We are delighted to announce that Jane,Sharon and Jamie have successfully completed a SQA in a Rights Based Approach to Independent Advocacy. We wish our Lived Experience Advocates well in supporting and empowering people across our communities in knowing their rights, respect and recovery is key to supporting people access services and be successful in their journeys.
Thank you to Bank of Scotland and the Argyll & Bute Alcohol and Drug Partnership for their investment into developing Independent Advocacy for people seeking support and assistance in their recovery journeys. We are planning and developing this service and more information will be available soon on the progress and launch of this project.
A big shout out to all of the Staff and volunteer team for all their continued support and determination to assist and support people over this challenging period and support the visions and aims of developing this new project.
